Garis Miring Studio was founded in 2015 by Budi Basari, which started as a custom furniture workshop. Now our studio has grown into an architectural and interior consultant equipped with a design team from various expertise backgrounds. We are experienced in designing commercial and accommodation projects in Bali with head office in Jakarta.

The first meeting with the client produces a design brief according to the client's needs, budget and deadlines. From there, we developed a concept proposal based on research and presented through moodboards and sketches. After reaching an agreement, we proceed to the design development stage where we explore the design of certain architectural elements. The next stage is the creation of technical and detailed working drawings so that construction can begin. We carry out field supervision to ensure the final result is according to our design.

For us, architecture is a social matter that should be enjoyed by all. We consider ecological aspects in the design process, such as the adoption of passive designs and the selection of sustainable materials. We believe that the uniqueness of each design is the result of imperfections that come from the intervention of various local craftsmen. This creates a contemporary tropical style that combines modern forms with local materials.
